Reward Flight Finder – Where Finding Flights Equals Finding Rewards

Updated: Jun 25

Flyers of British Airways are no doubt hunting for schemes where they will be rewarded for the flights they take. The rewards that they seek may come simply in the form of Avios points or memberships of varying levels. They can, however, be challenging to come across and coordinate, particularly when there are continuous updates on the British Airways rewards available. Frequent flyers of British Airways, however, shouldn’t search in vain, as a concept in the form of a website was created to tackle the problem of reward-hunting.

Over a decade ago, keen points collector and traveller Tim Rogers created the website Reward Flight Finder. A frustration in hunting for reward seats using Avios points led him to understand that there was a gap in the market. A gap which, once filled, would serve well to British Airways’ frequent flyers and reward hunters. The website has served its purpose well, continuing to do so even after its CEO change to Douglas Rose in 2020, who showcased his expertise in the field of travel technology.

Today, Reward Flight Finder works diligently to ensure that British Airways customers have access to the latest information on reward seats. The website is designed to allow customers to enter their departure point and destination immediately. Upon clicking on ‘Search Now’, customers can then enter their cabin class and number of seats booked in order to view the full array of reward seats available. This complete list of reward seats remains valid for up to 1 year from the date the search criteria were entered.

Some customers of Reward Flight Finder may miss out unintentionally on specific reward seats. This is why the website has been designed to allow alerts to be delivered to all customers who wish to stay up-to-date on available reward seats. Updates can be sent to customers once a day, either during the day or night, but this frequency can be increased for a small additional fee.

Other perks for this website (particularly for silver and gold membership owners) include a worldwide map search. These membership owners will have the power to enter their departure point, travel dates, and number of seats to view all locations offering BA reward seats. Once customers are aware of the Avios Points they can spend, they can then head to BA’s website to book them from there.

Reward Flight Finder offers a range of membership plans for customers who wish to sign up and receive the benefits it provides. Their bronze membership is offered free of charge, whereas the silver and gold memberships require payment, depending on which one customers wish to go for. The higher the membership, the more perks customers will receive, such as frequent alerts and the option to perform search filters on flights. Customer reviews are available for visitors to Reward Flight Finder who remain unsure about purchasing one of their memberships.

Guides on the British Airways tier-pointing system and using a companion voucher are also available on Reward Flight Finder. These can be used if customers need advice on how these work and what the points can be spent on. There is also a Frequently Asked Questions page, which will provide even more help for customers with burning questions about Reward Flight Finder’s services. For further updates, a page featuring news articles is also available for customers to enjoy an engaging read.
